This Global Shield Solutions Platform funded tender package for Costa Rica comprises a sequenced assignment, beginning with a diagnostic study to identify barriers and provide recommendations for regulatory reform supporting inclusive insurance and climate risk insurance market development, followed by the drafting of specific parametric insurance regulations to guide market actors and regulators in the design and implementation of such products.

1 LosSUGESE, as beneficiary and contracting authority of the Global Shield Solutions Platform funded Support Programme Costa Rica, hereby invites proposals under an open, single-stage procedure for consulting services comprising a diagnostic study and the development of parametric insurance regulations. The Global Shield Solutions Platform, managed by Frankfurt School of Finance & Management gGmbH, will administer the procurement and process payments on behalf of SUGESE from donor funds; however, the service contract will be concluded with SUGESE, and the selected consultant's services shall be owed exclusively to SUGESE without creating any employment relationship.
